The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvases, stretchers and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. The sheets adhere well to their underlying support. There are creases in places to the paper sheets, in keeping with the artist's working method. There is minor rubbing to the corners of the canvases. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
