The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and the edges of the sheet are deckled. Artist's pinholes are to the corners. Small paper losses are to the corners and in places along th eleft edge, probably in keeping with the artist's working method. A minute paper accretion is left of center. Minute varnish accumulations are visible under close inspection. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
