The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discoloration. Visible horizontal creases are apparent across the centre of the work. Faint creases along the edges. An abrasion mark close to the middle right edge. Negligible pinpoint foxing and minor handling marks are present occasionally. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 288. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
