Gemini G.E.L. notes that: There were 6 initial images: 1. the Berlin Wall, 2. the Berlin Wall, 3. a girl with a horse, 4. the last of the California Stone Age Yahi Indians, 5. Brazilian Indian extermination, 6. German civilians circa 1940. Each set was initially issued with the 6 photo insert images and 2 blank insert cards. Additional inserts were conceived to be mailed to owners of Opti-Can Royale.
Openings were hand-cut in a tin can. Components were then assembled and soldered onto the can. Knobs were cemented into place and the base, light fixture, and cord were attached. A printed and engraved brass tag was signed and numbered by the artist and attached to each sculpture prior to the artist's hand-application of the epoxy resin.
