The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right.
- a horizontal crease at the upper sheet edge (110 mm.), at right, mainly visible in a raking light.
- pale time-staining along the lower sheet edge.
- two pinpoint holes at the extreme left and right of the composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
