The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to a paper support and undulates very slightly. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone, and faint discoloration is occasionally to the extreme edges. Tiny spots of foxing are scattered, most notably to the edges. A soft crease is to the upper right quadrant, and another one is to the left upper edge. A pinpoint accretion is to the upper right edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
