The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged on the upper horizontal edge to its underlying support. The horizontal edges of the sheet are uneven and the sheet undulates slightly. There are a few faint creases to the edges of the gelatin silver print in places, only visible under strong raking light and presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There are a few pinpoint losses to the emulsion to the extreme right vertical edge in places, presumably in keeping with the artist's chosen medium. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
