Sale Overview
Christie’s Art of Asia online auction in Paris features a curated selection of works from private European and Asian collections. The sale showcases Ming and Qing dynasty porcelain, jade carvings, cloisonné enamels, paintings, textiles and more… Highlights include a very nice bronze ‘dragon and phoenix’ champion vase from the 18th century (lot 752) and a selection of Ming and Qing cloisonné enamels from a French private collection (lots 658-667). We will also present another part of the Galerie Duchange collection (lots 601-630) including porcelain and scholar’s objects such as a very nice example of Longquan celadon moulded ‘flower’ jar (lot 601) as well as interesting jades from the Gensburger collection (lots 694-705) collected in Asia before 1950.
