Art from the Kiln presents an array of ceramic works of art from circa 500BC to pieces as recent as 2020. The sale includes works by leading contemporary ceramicists Hitomi Hosono, Kate Malone, Felicity Aylieff and Bouke de Vries, as well as historic works from antiquity, and ceramics from Italy, Japan, China, Iran and Staffordshire from the 14^th, 17^th, 18^th and 19^th centuries. Connections and influences are evident across all these works and they could all work together visually, to sit happily in the home of any contemporary collector.
