Christie’s Collections online auction in New York features a curated selection of European decorative arts dating from the late Gothic to Art Deco. Open for bidding 9-23 April, the sale comprises fine furniture, silver, ceramics, sculpture and tapestries hailing from several American private collections. Highlights include outstanding Chinese export lacquer and English japanned furniture, a selection of precious Viennese enamel and rock crystal objects from the estate of Dr. Randall Stewart, as well as Russian icons and works of art from the Collection of John Salant Rodgers.
