Christie’s presents a superb range of wines in our London Edition auction. We partner with Decanter World Wine Awards in their 20th year. These lots contain offerings of Champagne, Burgundy, Italy and Spain, Australian and USA wines.

A collection of Rhône leads the sale, with bottles of Domaine Jean-Louis Chave, Ermitage Cuvée Cathelin 1998-2009 on offer. Hermitage Rouge back to 1985 and Hermitage Blanc from 2005 onwards are presented. Thierry Allemand’s collectible Cornas Chaillot and Reynard appears alongside a bottle of 1989 Dervieux-Thaize Côte Rôtie Côte Brune Fontgent Cuvée Réservée, the last vintage of this wine. Château Rayas is a wonderful aspect of the sale, the Rouge is offered from 1988-2010 and the Blanc from 1989-2010.

Domaine Coche-Dury is a highlight. A full, original case of 2014 Corton-Charlemagne is exciting, supported by bottles and cases of Corton-Charlemagne, Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères, Meursault Les Chevaliers and Les Rougeots back to 1996. Domaine Raveneau, Domaine Ramonet and Domaine Leflaive support, with noteworthy Grand Crus.

Domaine de la Romanée Conti, including Romanée Conti 2006, La Tâche 2004 and 2006, Richebourg 2006 and Romanée-Saint-Vivant 2009 feature, from a single-owner collection. A case of Échezeaux 2010 and Richebourg and Romanée-Saint-Vivant from 2013 support. Domaine Leroy, with Latricières-Chambertin 2009 and Clos de Vougeot 2006 appear. René Engel is a focus, with Clos de Vougeot 1999 and 2004 and Grands-Échezeaux 1999 and 2003.

Bordeaux has representation from cases of Le Pin 2010 to a vertical of Château Mouton-Rothschild from 1980-2008. A full case of Château Latour 1982 and cases of Château Haut-Brion 1989 appear.

Appearing are lots from Selosse including the famed Lieux-dits collection case. Dom Perignon P2 1998, Krug Clos du Mesnil 1979 (the début vintage), Bollinger RD 1988 (in jeroboam), Dom Perigon vintages and Cristal feature.

Italy has a special offering of wines. Bruno Giacosa, including Villero di Castiglione Falletto 1990 and Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche Riserva 2014 in magnum, are offered.  Conterno’s Monfortino (in magnum) is presented. G. B. Burlotto Barolo Monvigliero 2013-2016 features.

Spirits feature, including bottles from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. The Macallan 1967, 1973 and 1974 and Glendronach 1968 appear alongside Pappy Van Winkle.
