The final online sale is entitled Irene Roosevelt Aitken: A Life on Fifth Avenue. This sale features jeweled, enameled and gold smoking and beauty accessories by Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and other 20th‑century makers, as well as 18th‑ and 19th‑century gold and porcelain snuff boxes. Irene Aitken was a true devotee of the arts and, to further her legacy of generosity, proceeds of the collection will go to the three New York cultural institutions closest to her heart: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Collection and The Morgan Library & Museum.
