This spring, Christie’s Paris online-only Livres rares et Manuscrits auction will invite international collectors to an exploration of five centuries of writing and printing. From early printed books to modern publications bound by Paul Bonet, from La Fontaine, Goethe and Byron to Gide, Breton and Sartre, from Piranesi to Picasso, Buren and Zao Wou-Ki, the sale is an invitation to discover the shapes and visions of the book through the years.
