The frame with age and construction cracks as expected. The carving with scattered minor abrasions and losses. Lacking a rosette to one reserve at top. One leg with a repaired break at the join, the other one with a repaired crack. Surface likely re-gessoed and regilt/repainted circa 1900 and now with some rubbing and losses to giltwood revealing bole and gesso in areas. The woven silk with fading, marks and tears; the pleated reverse with considerable losses and tears.
