This season, Christie’s Post-War and Contemporary Online Sale presents an exciting and diverse array of international post-war and contemporary art and photography.

The sale will feature nine works from Wolfgang Tillmans: The Way We Look, a private collection of photographic works by the renowned German artist, all appearing on the market for the first time.

Alongside this are works by post-war masters such as David Hockney, Anselm Kiefer, Sol Lewitt, Jean Dubuffet and Andy Warhol alongside contemporary works by Hilary Pecis, Kiki Smith, Tunji Adeniyi-Jones and George Condo.

Christie’s is proud to continue its collaboration with Art for Tropical Forests, a charity combining passion for art and dedication to the protection and conservation of tropical forests worldwide. The sale will feature a selection of contemporary works by Ai Weiwei, Herbert Brandl, Jenny Carlsson Grip and Jorinde Voigt. Proceeds from the sale of these lots will be used to strengthen Art for Tropical Forests’ diverse programming which includes habitat preservation, reforestation, forestry stewardship and the strengthening of local communities.

Christie’s is also delighted to collaborate with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) to deliver BUILD IT, BEAT IT, a dedicated selection of 31 artworks by 30 leading contemporary artists to be offered on behalf of GOSH. Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of Europe’s leading hospitals and research centres dedicated to the medical care of children, and is building a new, world-class Children’s Cancer Centre at the hospital in London. Generously donated works by artists such as Peter Doig, Jadé Fadojutimi and Tracey Emin will be auctioned to benefit this transformative initiative.
