Following from the immense white-glove success of The Rosa de la Cruz Collection Evening Sale in May, Christie’s is delighted to extend its offering with The Rosa de la Cruz Collection Online Sale this July in New York.

Fierce of mind and kind in spirit, Rosa de la Cruz set the tone for collecting contemporary art. Through her pioneering vision and dedicated patronage, she fostered the oeuvres of some of today’s most important artists while building Miami into a global arts destination. All works to be sold were exhibited for almost two decades in The de la Cruz Collection space in Miami’s Design District and Rosa’s Key Biscayne home, which she generously opened to the public.

Offered with attractive estimates at accessible price points, The Rosa de la Cruz Collection Online Sale continues to display the extraordinary depth and consideration with which Rosa collected her most beloved artists. Highlighting the sale are two fantastic paintings by Wade Guyton and Sterling Ruby, two of the cornerstones of the collection space in Miami. Surrounding these institutional giants are paintings by many of the market’s most celebrated creators of the last 40 years: Shara Hughes, Mark Grotjahn, Thomas Houseago, Rashid Johnson, Sarah Morris and Vaughn Spann, among many others.
