Christie’s is pleased to present The Cellar of an Obsessive Collector Part II: Online, a single‑owner collection curated with unwavering attention to provenance and a collector’s instinct for both depth and diversity. With over 600 lots of Burgundy red and white wines representing more than 170 producers, the sale offers a comprehensive survey of the region. The collection is further rounded out by mature Bordeaux, sought‑after natural and cult wines and premium Champagne, mostly in original wooden cases, with some available in rare large formats.

Burgundy forms the cornerstone of the offering, showcasing masterpieces from the region’s most revered producers. Highlights include Domaine de la Romanée‑Conti La Tâche 2008 and Grands Echézeaux 2008; Domaine Leroy Nuits‑Saint‑Georges Les Boudots 2007 and Vosne‑Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1993; and Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin 2008, all in original wooden cases. The white wine selection includes Pierre Girardin Montrachet 2008; Etienne Sauzet Montrachet 2011 and Bâtard‑Montrachet 2008; alongside Bouchard Père et Fils Chevalier‑Montrachet 2008 and Montrachet 2011. Bordeaux is represented by a focused group of classics, including an Imperial of Château Lafite Rothschild 2011, Château Margaux 2009 in double magnums; and an Imperial of Cos d'Estournel 2009, all in original wooden cases. These wines reflect the collector’s pursuit of Bordeaux at its most classical yet powerful.

The offering is also complemented by a selection of sought‑after natural and cult wines, including Prieuré‑Roch Chambertin‑Clos de Bèze 2008 and an Assortment Case 2006; Screaming Eagle 1998 and 1999; Sine Qua Non 2005; and an expansive selection from Yann Durieux. Last but not least, Champagne highlights feature iconic cuvées from Krug, Dom Pérignon, and Taittinger, underscoring the collector’s appreciation for their premium quality and ageing potential.
